A new year means a fresh start; to leave the past in the past and work towards making this year better than before. But beyond new beginnings, the new year also comes with some of the biggest nights in Hollywood. As most of you may have read, the SAG Awards and Golden Globes have recently released their 2018 nominations. And as of today, the Writers Guild jumped on the bandwagon.

The 2018 Writers Guild Awards are set to take place on February 11th where they’ll recognize outstanding achievement in television, film, news, radio/audio and creative writing. Amber Ruffin who is a writer and on-air personality for Late Night with Seth Meyers, will be the host.
