According to law enforcement officials, Jason “Mayhem” Miller, a former MMA fighter, was detained after reportedly choking a fan at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood.

Only a few months after Miller’s release from jail, the event apparently took place on August 29.

A fan apparently approached Miller to meet him when the conflict started, but as a verbal argument became violent, Miller is believed to have put the man in a chokehold.

Security had to step in to assist the person in escaping from Miller.

Sheriffs were summoned to the location, but by the time they got there, Miller had already departed.

A report of an assault was made, and charges are still pending while the matter is still being investigated.

Jason “Mayhem” Miller, 42, was freed in May 2023 after having been released from jail in June 2022 due to prior offenses.
