Sarah B. Fisher passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 in  her home in Norfolk, VA, surrounded by family. She was born on July 22, 1958 to the late Arthur Copeland and Frances Copeland. She later met her longtime companion and husband, Charles E. Fisher Jr. and they had two daughters and married September 8,1992. She was a faithful member Allpower Ministry. She was a private duty nurse and custodian for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and visiting slots. Amongst, all things she loved praising the Lord and helping people. Our mother was known to give you the shirt off her back if need be. She was also one of the best cooks in 757. Her food would warm soul and if you was down by time she feed you was happy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Fisher Jr.; her parents, Arthur Copeland and Frances Copeland; two sisters: Marion Stepney and Betty Revels; and one brother, Arthur Copeland (Agnes); her grandson, Demarcus Jones; and her favorite cousin, Queenie Turner.

She is survived by her two daughters: Laura McGill (Andrew) and Samantha Jones (Jermaine); stepson, Hyde Gray (Montrell); 11 grandchildren: Ayiana Sharp, Deandre Ward, Charles E. Fisher III, Amari Sharp, Andrea McGill, Andrew McGill Jr., Marcus McGill, Charlie McGill, Aylaura Jones, Nyha Gray, and McKenzie Gray; two great grandchildren: Avah Graham and Jodeci Harris; one sister, Janet Williams; a brother in law, Dwain Fisher; a sister in law, Ethel Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; the love of her life, Lateeshia Stepney, more like her grandchild. She also had a host of children that wasn’t hers but she loved them all the same; three special friends: Barbara Lewis, Lakesha Hazley and Belinda Saunders.
