Toby Huss Career
In the mid 1990s, Huss showed up in system promotions for MTV, playing odd characters, including a crooner, referred to at the time as Ol’ Two Eyes, who sang relax vocalist renditions of Dr. “Dre Day”, Cypress Hill’s “Crazy in the Brain”, Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy”, and Onyx’s hit “Hammer”; a James Bond-like government operative named Cobalt; a cowhide fetishist with an unusual warmth for goats; a wool wearing good for nothing; and an irate redneck named Reverend Tex Stoveheadbottom, who conveyed quick talking and expressively point by point nonsensical conclusion tirades that normally incorporated the expression, “Get lost!”
Different jobs incorporate the voices of Cotton Hill and Kahn Souphanousinphone on King of the Hill and a beau of Elaine Benes in the scene “The Junk Mail” of Seinfeld. From his satires of Frank Sinatra, which were highlighted in the movies Vegas Vacation and Down Periscope, Huss has made a Sinatra-motivated character named Rudy Casoni.
